STATUS REPORT [september 17, 2008]

Well so far my life has caught up with me again. And everything is back to normal. i'll tell you a little of everything as i continue(dame kasi nangyari ngayong september..weee..^^).

so everything started when i stopped posting on this blog. yeah, i got distracted or something(yeah i did) but im back now, so see more posts later if i get the time posting them. i have so much to tell! i'll be starting telling my story by sections so you wont be confused or something

~SCHOOL
okay, nothing really happened at school. this sem, i think we just wasted money for tuition since we havent learned anything decent, except on the subject PHILMAN(philosophy of man) and THEODBS(theory of Database Systems). dalawang subject lang may regular na pasok, everything else is vacant or the teacher is lazy. one subject i feel i cant learn is COMORG(computer organizations - assembly or organization of raw computer data), the teacher doesn't teach and often absent. haizzz..^^. a bad news to all of you, i got a 58 on my midterm overall grade on PROSTAT(probability and statistics), i cant really say if i can make it back up, but im trying, i dont want to fail on that subject..T_T its maybe because i got distracted, i cant turn my back on that fact. hay, love nga naman, its so wonderful..:P

a classmate went to dubai, a very close friend of mine, victor bayani. he always makes me smile and laugh, so i miss that guy. haha, hope he gets back soon..he even gave me his THEODBS book..after he left he missed 2 events, where those events i started to take pictures of myself(for the first time) LoL ^^..the linggo ng wika and 25th anniversary in star city..the linggo ng wika, we won the best in presentation of food(of course..haha)..that's the first time i saw my classmates do teamwork right..:) that event had competitions and we were at the sabayang kanta, or something like that, and i tried to play piano..haha..i suck!!! another event is the 25th anniversary of STI at star city...weeee, i cant believe i just got to ride 1. huhu..i wanted to ride the star-flyer, a hanging roller coaster. hay, so much happened and sadly, mildred brought 2 pairs of half dead batteries, so, we ddnt get any pictures at the later part of the trip. but the highlight of my trip there is the ride on the magic carpet!! OMGsh!!!! haha..i cant believe i rode that!!!...it was exhilirating!!!haha...nice nice...got my stomach in a twist..we ate at chowking, and got our feet sore. im sad cause i didnt buy anything from star city, since i was spending my money, my parents didnt give me anything to spend. :( good thing i had an extra P350 lying around. i didn't buy teddybear anything(i miss you)..again you can check out the pics here..http://profiles.friendster.com/jamoyandfriends ^^

so, as i right this, i am thinking of my prefinals. cause it's prefinal week, and we only have one exam..weeee..THEODBS!!!

hay, romeo and juliet, tragedy..me and teddybear got seperated this month, so im kinda sad..but im still keeping myself happy, cause there is nothing to be sad about. but i cant see her, text her or even talk to her..and that makes me cry at night. we barely made it 3 months..and frankly i was disapointed cause di pa ako sinasabihan ni teddybear ng "I LOVE YOU" ng personal. with that fact, i began to doubt her love for me..pero di dapat..kasi MAHAL NIYA AKO,..pero right now, di na pwede..so, i have to move on..woooo T_T, the reason we got seperated is super complicated and you'll get crazy just thinking about it. so i better not talk about it. I REALLY MISS HER..

so, my father sold my Phone, so right now, i dont have anything to do..i miss texting people..hay i've become attached to that phone, its like an extension of my body..wahaha..kulang na pag walang dalang phone..anu b yan!! so, ngayon, im kinda in a probation period or something similar..im not allowed to play the drums sa church because of something terrible i did..hay, the year 2008 maybe the happiest and saddest of years for me..

well, that's it..i dont know anything to report anymore..hmmm....asta la vista baby..^^

By the way, i havent posted for a while since i have no time to write anything, work and school is pretty tough if you put it simply. well, i havent made Jamoy the header pic any better, im stuck with text effects and some simple concepts. gosh my laziness. XD owell, to the point...

lately, i've been too busy playing, working and studying(daw) that I completely forget to read the bible or even pray, i know it's too bad, but i started again, last night..cause i've been experiencing too much problems and i think God wants me to talk to him again. So, i pointed to the page in my devotional book and there it is, that verse, so beautiful in all its nature. I'll tell you a story about my life later on, with vague details and such, cause i dont want to spoil anything. bla bla bla..and by the way, this post isn't written in pure english, so those who do not understand tagalog, learn the language, its awesome..:P

The story of my teddybear is really overwhelming, so i will leave that story to be written on another date.

Okay my recent life started this june, when i confessed my feelings for a certain girl, and I was surprised that the Girl liked me back, it was so overwhelming, because, sanay ako sa heart break, and she's the first girl that accepted me for who i am, and what i am, and how i look like(im not that handsome *grin* ). Sometimes i really doubt if she really likes me, but i always remember the verse i mentioned. It's just so overwhelming that a christian girl would like me back. I've been through many roads before and this is the best one yet. I've prayed for this since the beginning. prayed that a christian girl would be blinded, and fall for me. LoL..:)

This girl is unpredictable, mataray tignan at napakaganda..malupet pumorma at napaka ganda magdala ng sarili...parang magsasaka. :) also, di mo talaga malalaman kung masaya siya o hindi, cause she hides her feelings very well. parang EMO baga..:P

Well, im just so overwhelmed about what is happening...hay nako!!

Ubuntu Dapper Drake, disappointed...

Thursday, our hard drive got a super bad sector and an irreparable error on our windows installation. My files that were in that HD wasnt backed up..awe well...i was excited too, because our machine was kinda crappy to begin with..

the solution is to reformat, and really, i was excited. We were going to install the ubuntu CD i requested 2 yrs ago from canonical which was hand delivered to our house. How cool is that?..:P although the CD version is kinda old, i was very anxious none the less.

Formatting windowsXP.........................................done
Partitioning with ext3 file system............................done
Installing Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper Drake........................done

okay, although gnome wasnt new to me, the terminal commands and everything ubuntu was kinda confusing...it was easy to set, but very confusing to confusing to configure or even to install something. UNIX roks but it needs some time to learn.

oaky, i installed WINE the windows emulator, and tried to install an anti virii. the heck? there's no connection?...we switched to XP, and there is? how come is it like that? so much for having ubuntu. But im still decided to learn the *nix language.

so much for that.

WHAT?! the greatest side dish in jeopardy because of the never ending greed of the philippine Government. Im not against anyone or against anything, but this is pretty ridiculous.

Just weeks ago, they announced that we are undergoing a rice crisis. is this a joke? restaurants should serve half a cup of rice, i mean, is there anything left to eat with half a cup of rice? for me, im a big eater and a big rice fan. i wont eat and i wont be satisfied with half a rice which only serves one spoon for me.

The media is telling us that there is no crisis, and the government tells us otherwise. gosh, i tell you this is all a conspiracy of the arroyo regime to take over the world. this is really disapointing, ZTE and now this?

think about this, this idea came from my father a former Seaman-to-be now a Pastor. (This is my opinion apart from his)The rice crisis was announced just 2 weeks ago, i think, and now they are showing us storage houses full of imported rice? IMPORTED RICE?
a boat of imported rice should travel for more than 45 days from the US to the philippines. and that's like a month and a half!...and the rice crisis is just 2 weeks in. that means there has been Imported Rice even before they announced the rice crisis. What a coincidence?

Is this act to compensate for the ZTE loss? gosh, what are they going to think of next? sell Spratleys? oh wait? they already did that.....now what else to sell for their gain? hmmm....maybe Mindanao?

All i want to say is, this is pretty ridiculous that the philippine government is conspiring against its loyal citizens!

my point is, GLORIA should change, or STEP DOWN!
..and not let that super puppeteer behind her control her!..she's the president for juan's sake! not that puppeteer!

haha okay, this is something to show to you. i found his channel on youtube about half a year ago. and i just noticed that this video kinda reminded me of someone!. guess who?! ME!....haha

if you notice the way i play the drums and the build of my body, we are perfectly identical (except the drum part). dont mind the hair, the hair gives the true person away. but if you look at the head down, you can see me..:D i even have that kind of faded jeans and polo...

now onto the topic, im now legally 18, thus making me eligible to marry, drink and drive. of course not drink. hahaha..LoL, the day's not finished yet but here i am, writing on my blog about nothing. okay, there's nothing special for my birthday today, its Good friday and no places worth going are open, or even present. okay, i have no food as of the moment, and im really hungry!..where's my cake? i should have a cake? awe..grrr...wretched poverty!..wish i was the president of the Philippines so i can get rid of that problem. back to the point. no gifts!. except for 100p dad gave me! haha, 100? what would that buy?....candy? *sarcastic* haha...LoL, but i appreciate the effort. :D it seems that so little remember my birthday, or am i just thinking that? ow well..ayayay..so much work to do, so little time!.

by the way, i have an incoming thesis defense on tuesday, date march 25th 3-5pm at STI. haha..let me crumble at the burning questions of the panel!....

the Rubix

Yes! for the first time. I solved the rubix on my own. date February 21 2008. thanks to JJ, Harold and Alrac(Mark Gan). they taught me the patterns used in solving the unsolvable rubix(now it isnt). If you want to learn the magical trick of solving the 3x3 rubix. Just post a comment.

STI Youth Convention

hmm..this year the convention is much different, its boring...i mean, sleep tight boring...although, i was really entertained by the guest, kept me awake at the time. for my second time joining the youth convention, its my first time to ever listen to the speakers. The speakers were aileen apolo and some guy who's a millionare and a youth pastor(that made me interested in the first place). the last guy was hilarious, jojo re-something. haha, complete. if you were there, you'd know.

the first speaker was a google representative for the philippines. hehe, wow, she doesnt seem to be much of a speaker, but the video's she showed us greatly inspired me. can you believe Google has the best offices in the world. When i grow up, im gonna apply for google. Yeah Baby :)

the second speaker was a millionare, i think, and he's a youth pastor somewhere, He didnt tell. he was a great speaker, made me interested the whole time. Branding baby!..

the third was an STI person, i forgot what his position was, but he was really entertaining. his level of "pagka-pilosopo" was like mine so i got his jokes very quickly, and because i laugh easily, haha, i rolled on the floor laughing(of course not, its just an expression).

The class decided to make a magazine for our class long before the Convention. but sadly, no one brought a camera. DUDE!? WHAT?! NO ONE BROUGHT A FRIGGIN CAMERA?! yes, no one brought one, i mean, our dream of a magazine ended. We had so much ideas, all to waste. great moments and great sceneries to capture, but with no camera. awe i think this convention is the sadest ever.

When we were at MOA, Gosh, it was hot. The wind from the ocean is really warm, i was wearing my jacket then. Mall of ASIA was so big, the last tme we went there there were no buildings near the parking lot. Now there are two new buildings?. haha, they're fast. the parking lot is humongous. you can run laps in there, and its just one parking space, the others are much larger, i wish i can show you a picture.

when we were inside, i went straight to the food court, gosh im hungry. its kinda nice that you're gonna eat 65 pesos of your hard earned money for a piece of chicken and a cup of rice. haha LoL. i was kinda bored that time so i didnt ask my friends to roam MOA, but they insisted we do. a couple of minutes passed and im already sweaty, i saw a lot of beautiful foreginers, koreans, chinese, indians and americans hehehe. Hour 2 into MOA and we were all sick of walking 5 footbal fields(assuming it was the length of the mall). we just got out to the bay area and sat there. until the time was up. we had more fun outside than inside MOA. if i can get a picture of the bay, i'll upload it(i got one from my phone).

Well, that's my adventure for this year's 25th Student Youth Convention of STI. Hope the next one's better.

Chibi or super Deformed(SD), haha, its a craze in the anime world. search google if you want to know more. Chibis are those cute little representations of real anime characters or even real people.

It's quite amusing to draw yourself like that, and have a panoramic white background as your landscape..LoL, okay to the point, i have represented myself with a chibi counter part named jamster, he will be mood every season, every time, every month. so watch out for his changes.

Mindset is jamster's dog, he was designed to have a headset on his ears, but i decided to not let him wear that yet. He is originally my concept for what i first planned blog. He's been a very good dog while hiding inside my Hard drive. I think i'll post the layout here some time. but right now, this is what i have..

LoL, what a big night that was..ABS-CBN deliberately placed the big night at late night. Well i watched the most part, and it was very exciting and entertaining. You gotta love comedian impersonators..LoL, The night went off with a blast, with Broadway style introduction numbers and some practice-lacked dancers.
(yes, practice-lacked is not a word, its just my way of saying the dancers weren't good)

haha. i laughed when Tuesday Vargas, a comedian, impersonated Gaby. LoL, uhmm..haha..uhmmm.. the second was will, impersonated by 'whatshisname', the third was gabby which was badly played by giselle sanchez, i hate their over-exaggerated perspective of riza the virgin, do they have to emphasize that, its like they're portraying otherwise. the third was ruben, which not really funny, just pathetic.

Gosh, it was like all the TV commercials in the world was at the big night about 10mins interval for show and advertisements, i got tired waiting so i just went to bed.

This morning i got news that Kuya Ruben(emphasize on the RU) won the big night, which was really expected. my line up was RUBEN, GABY, WILL, RIZA..seeing that riza is being accused of plastik, but i underestimated her.

The Winners were RUBEN, RIZA, GABY & WILL. wow, come to think of it, i was wrong. LoL. Will came in last as 4th big winner, i dont know the reason, but i think because he's really settled in with a good career, also with Gaby that really is on top of the big brother hierarchy. She came in 3rd, the racing goddess came in third?...The second was believe it or not, Riza...Haha..LoL, i really underestimated her, i thought the philippine masses viewed riza as Plastik, yet she won. Well, that proves Chirstian Principles will not be led down by the world, an almost perfect girl riza is. and now, RUBEN!...the big winner. He has now, all the wealth in the world, Hope he doesn't change. I really pity jon, haha, a bad choice on having to say those conspiring words. well, I dont have something to watch out every night anymore, i wish it was extended. well, i'll watch out for PBB teen 2, and PDA. hope they're as good as CE2.

You gotta love good ole' manila..:D haha, we visited my Grandparents at Quezon city and we celebrated the new year there. It's kinda nice to see them again, and dont forget, i got a new mp4 player, out with the old, in with the newer..LoL, im loading it with simpsons episodes right now LoL. :D

Okay, my work just got past deadline, and i barely made anything, Gosh, im so stressed right now. we have to pass our thesis and project papers on the 2nd of january, that's tomorrow darnit! well, the whole point of this post is to list my new year's resolution. Wow, i hope this list wouldnt get broken. im gonna try and make it happen. yeepee..

okay now for the list, im gonna start with the 25th down to my 1st down the list. get ready, here i go...

well well well, just got home from cavite. excited to tell criticism again. LoL! Well, the morning of the 24th, we woke up early to travel 2 hours so we can share our christmas "noche buena" with my father's family[my grandparent's]. Haha, the travel wasnt boring, but it surely wasnt entertaining. halfway there, we ate at jolibee in greenfields sta. rosa. wooooohhh, jooobeeee!...back to the story. we arrived in our destination exactly 9am in my clock. Haha. i was greeted warmly by my 3 kid girl cousins. haha XD. I ran into the house to see my grandmother and grandfather, and unsuprisingly, my grandpa wasnt there...unfortunately, his attention was with his frinds at the "TONG-ITan". hehe, awe well..I saw my uncle watching a pirated DVD of "Mr. McGorium's wonderful Emporium", i finished it starting halfway through, it was a nice movie...then I saw 300, i really wanted to watch that brutal epic of a movie. As i was skimming through the list of movies, wow, "BEOWULF", i mean gosh!...Technology IS amazing and i mean it really IS. Okay, what im about to write is not criticism of anykind, it is a rightful feedback to the movie. (haha..like duh?!).

The movie itself was very stunning, even though in the pirated copy, you can still appreciate the human-like 3d modeling of the characters. however, i ddnt appreiciate the audio because it was caught from a handy cam(so i think). I also salute the cinematography of every scene. quite captivating. :D

**ROTTEN ENGLISH SORRY**

Being the oldest living english epic. i thought the story was going to be good, i thought otherwise. we learned a part of the epic in high-school, i ignored the idea of the whole story but i retained some information for future reference. LoL. The story starts out with the king of "whatcha-callem-land" and a feast on the some hall in the center of the kingdom. as they were partying, a monster pops out of the freakin wooden door and the lights went out, and this blue flame came from below and GRENDEL, the monster came out and ate the people inside. Then came BEOWULF, the protagonist, which in the story said that he cannot be slain by any weapons of man or be claimed by the sea because the gods wont let it. A long seductive story came afterwards and Grendel is slain by Beowulf by ripping the monster's left hand clear off. bla bla bla. talking and Grendel came home to his mommy and died. The king then sent bBEOWULF to slay the mommy of grendel which had a dark secret with the king also. The king of "whatcha-callem-land" offered BEOWULF the sacred HORN of the DRAGON Slayers(not it's real name) and said that he is now the king(WHAT?!) the kind then jumped of his castle and was never seen or heard from again. As I understood, GRENDEL's dad was the king becuase the the king and the mommy of grendel had dirty relations. well, a lot of time maybe years passed and BEOWULF grew a beard. and a Dragon came and slew villages around the kingdom of what was now called "BEOWULFENDORF"(just kidding it's still "whatcha-callem-land"). it turned out that the dragon was BEOWULF's son. because i ddnt tell you that when the former king sent BEOWULF to slay the mommy of GRENDEL, BEOWULF was seducted by the mommy, so a baby was born. It's a curse!..then the dragon attacked the "BEOWULFENDORF" formerly "whatcha-callem-land" and almost killed BEOWULF's small wife? LoL!..
then the dragon died when BEOWULF grabbed its heart and crushed it(AAAAWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!). The movie ended with the mommy of grendel still alive seducing the new king which was BEOWULF's trusted friend, and the story goes on and on until it got published.

haha, i missed my PC, as i was writing this, cookies are cradled inside my mouth, haha..cant think striaght, I ddnt have enough sleep last night. Did you? I'll go work again now, just wanted to type something out-of-the-ordinary, dont forget to post a chat below. thanks..:D

Well this is my First month of Blogging and so far i've done 5 posts. Congratulations to me and my crooked brain. well, hardly any of these posts are related to what im thinking anyway. hay, nakakayamot. I'm being tempted to want a girldfriend. I've been holding so long, tapos ngayon, gusto ko magkagirlfriend. nyeh nyeh. Ayoko muna(Gusto). hehe, Well it's christmas time and Im experiencing it already, Thank God another year has passed and 2 more years until Gloria steps down. So How is your Christmas? got a gift yet? Do you have problems with your LoveyDub? LoL? well, my only problem is still attached to school!..my thesis and communication arts project hasn't started yet. Now how can i begin? i dont where to start! How do you like them apples!...

hey everyone, do you remember the last wowowee scandal where willie accidentally pulled the wrong layer of paper during their game show willie of fortune, well this is the sequel to that. This one was spilled by Joey de leon during Eat Bulaga. It shows the rehearsal of willie and the wowowee staff. I dont know who took this vid but it does show that willie is lying and it is all for the advertising stuff!!!....they are so screwed! haha, im waiting for willie's reaction to this. Philippines gone Mad...

Up to today, i've never been able to write something about the Philippines and how the cruddy government runs it. Im so full of their selfish decisions. Just recently, the failed Manila Pen Incident drives me crazy. "GET THE MEDIA", why the heck did they need to cuff them? and their stupid alibis where you can sriously tell that they are making it all up. HAHA, pathetic attempt at lying, score ZERO!

Have we gone back to the stone ages. haha. It's pathetic to think that we are really growing as a country. IM seriously against Gloria's Presidency, wish it's 2010 so that hopefully, she steps down.

I just learned that the government sold TRANSCO, the company that supplies electricity to homes, now why would they do that? that's just stupid!. TRANSCO should be ours, and their reason is, "THE GOVERNMENT IS OUT FUNDS"...Waaahat the???!!!, i mean come on! the president just left the country with tons of congressmen at her back. now another issue about the cheaper medicines bill!...what are they getting at? as i was writing this, the currency dropped to P42 to a dollar, now they are still changing a dollar at P41. that is so unfair to our hard-working OFWs. they said that the P42 currency will be implemented on january, but it's still december!!!!!!.....dangit!!!!....

This is so screwed. haha. :D well, that's my heart about the philippines right now, im really pissed.

Riza's Dilemma

Gosh i want to shout PLASTIK! kila ethel and mariel...ano ba ito plastikan na?. wow. if you're not updated with PBB & the recent incidents inside the house. haha..May task sila mariel at ethel to try and show the real riza. The only thing i disagree about the thing is that they won't believe what riza tells them. They ignore the fact that she stands on Biblical Principles, True persecution i tells you!....grrrr...tapos pinapunta sa oblation run! grabe naman, now that broke it. hay kawawa naman si Riza. They dont believe anything....blinded by their own perception!....wahahaha..i hate them still!..haha. the only thing i dont like about riza is that she posed for FHM, now being a christian that is a big NO NO.

Is This Real?

This has been really creeping me out since i first knew what it meant. EMO, (pronounced /ˈiːmoʊ/) has been evolving for the past decade and recently I found out that not only does it really affects emotion, it affects the mind. A Form of Brain wash, i know, this is criticism beyond my point and it is in the discretion of the reader.

Did you know that music is also a form of Pyschological Brain-Washing, Thus, with the EMO genre of Music, its hard to tell if the music is good or not.

I just found out that `EMO` targets the youth, that's pretty obvious i suppose, but with a deeper message, subject to change, and undoubtedly to more horrific instances. EMO promotes death instead of love, Suicide after Heartbreak, Pain that's self-inflicted as a result of a broken relationship. These are just some of the strong messages in EMO music. And now that it's a trend today, it is quickly spreading. Youth today dont even know the meaning of the word and how it is really portrayed but still, a majority would prefer to look like EMO than any other stereotype fashion.

EMO is closely related to our perception of Love, the dark side of our perception. It vaguely suggest that, "Because Your Lonely, kill Yourslef" which is wrong.

I dont know what to say about his kind of music, this is certainly a way for satan to corrupt the minds of the youth. i've been thinking about this for a very long time now, LOVE on this world has changed. its like fun and games now, because of the HUMAN PSYCHE, mortal love has evolved to a lower state. God said that...

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking.
It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.

Almost all of these gets ignored when saying, I LOVE YOU. what's the point of saying it if the only intention you have in a relationship is entertainment and lust. pathetic.

Im not de-promoting EMO in anyway, but please be conscious in what you listen to. Stick to what the Bible says about LOVE, do not be an EMO. stop being STUPID.

My Second shot as a Web Developer and Designer, nothing can beat this. Nights filled with Ideas that cant be written, passion for coding. Logics to the limits. wow, im just a Sophomore Student and Im already in the Business of Web development. Hope this turns out Good. If your wondering, im working with a Company in The United States and is currently developing a newsletter system very much like ConstantContact and other newsletter software on the web. Im having a bit trouble with some coding on Javascript as front UI. Well, Web2.0 is the thing, let's go with AJAX. yeepee.

Every night my eyes sore from 600+ lines of code. Its amazing i can take this much pressure, im already at my peak, i'm feeling dizzy every day and i feel nauseated from my complications. I had flu because of working. haha. Well, I'll make it last, because it's still worth my time, im worried about my subjects though, i haven't had much time with my thesis project. How can I manage this...Wah, I think i'm screwed..

Blah. right now, my deadline is fast approaching, 7 days to finsih 2 modules, and fix another module. and then Apply some themes. Wah, this is really pressure, and i have a company profile paper due on the 17th, which is 9 days from now, and as I said, a project thesis which i have due on January 2, more than 2 weeks from now, and still we, the group doesnt have any company to work on. What can I do now?

Well, it is worthwhile to do my Work rather than study. (haha EVIL =3) but it still haunts me that I prioritize Work rather than study first. A what a Life, RANT RANT RANT. I could use a hug right now.

I have been researching about the MAIL function of PHP and how it is piped to handle Bounces, i've stumbled upon a class on the http://www.PHPclasses.org website that handles something close to bounces. Search it at that site. Ive been hard at work on developing the UI i mentioned earlier, Shucks!..it's so hard, making javascript calls from a child window to a parent. Wah!..Hope the client loves my work. goooo jQuery!! (you gotta love this)

Along with that VERPs thing with mail bounces, i have been googling about SPAM, the thing everyone hates. except SPAMMERS. i have been studying how to minimize spam criterion for our Email templates. Hope no-one mismanages an account on our Project.
